we implemented our new Finance Productivity Management System designed
specially for us by Sydney Consulting, we had difficulty managing our
delivery performance and our resource requirements in relation to our
key deliverables. We had a focus on technical competencies and a lack
of proactive management of the resource allocation.
Now
I have the visibility to control the various different processes. There
has been a dramatic change in management behaviour and focus. The
people out on the floor are actively working on solving their problems,
know what these problems are costing and are constantly improving
performance. A very good example of this was when an Accounts
Supervisor was able to tell me what her backlog of work was in hours
and how many temporary people she needed to ensure our customer service
levels were met.
