Managing Director
MaxiTRANS Manufacturing

"...in October 2002 after carefully monitoring Sydney Consulting Corporation's performance with a number of companies, MaxiTRANS decided to engage Sydney Consulting to undertake a review of our primary manufacturing facility in Ballarat. The purpose of this review was to identify process improvement opportunities and increase production capacity utilising the existing resources. In addition to this we were keen to ensure that we extracted the full benefits of our recent capital upgrade expenditure.

Now that the 26-week implementation program has been completed on time and on budget, with the targeted savings and benefits also being met, I wanted to take this opportunity on behalf of the Company to thank you and your staff for doing such a professional job.

I was very impressed with the way your team worked with our management and shopfloor to ensure that the improvements were introduced in such a way that they were sustainable and that our employees took ownership of them. The formal weekly progress review meetings were also a good idea and effectively removed any roadblocks before they became an issue.

From our point of view Sydney Consulting Corporation has enabled MaxiTRANS to achieve significant improvements in profitability, quality and production levels. As a result of this success we are delighted you have agreed to undertake a similar process review program at our Panels and Foam manufacturing facility at Hallam."

Excerpt from the Australian Financial Review 11th July, 2003, Page 28

"... Maxitrans has surged to 50c after hitting 41c last week.  The company, which makes, sells, rents and repairs transport equipment, has turned around, helped by a buoyant market, the finishing of a factory upgrade at Ballarat and improved efficiency at its Ballarat, Hallam and NZ plants.  Profits surged 136 per cent in the first half and are forecast to grow more than 230 per cent for the full year..."
